(Recitation)
(Arabic text) (Surah Fateha: 1-5)
Translation: "In the Name of
Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful. All praises are for Allah, the
Lord of the worlds, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful, Master of the Day
of Judgment. We worship Thee only and Seek only Thy help and assistance."
Ladies and gentlemen, for many years
you have been coming to Karachi to offer your tributes to Qalandar Baba Auliya
from faraway places through, buses, trains, planes, and using various means of transportation.
An URS is commemorated to acquaint you with teachings and thinking approach of
Qalandar Baba Auliya. You are all guests of Qalandar Baba Auliya and God has
blessed us with the opportunity to serve you. Indeed undertaking this journey
is quite an ordeal and this is a kind of jihad and an expression of forbearance
and tolerance of human beings from Allah.
(Arabic text) (Surah Ankaboot: 69)
"Those who struggle and strive
for Us, We make paths easy for them."
Qalandar Baba says, translation of
the word 'feena' is 'in Me'. Allah is
saying that those who struggle and strive and sacrifice to stand before Him day
and night, in hot and cold weathers, I surely guide them provided that this all
is only for Me and for My sake, no other purpose is there except Me i.e. I am
their sole purpose of life, I have made it mandatory for Me to open up the
paths of guidance for them.
Respected audiences! I have been
directed and this was repeated three times that I should submit to you all that
you may ask any question, which you want to ask to understand and comprehend spiritualism,
from this humble servant. You are permitted to ask me questions related to the
closeness to Allah, about the teachings of the holy Prophet (PBUH), spiritualism,
extra-terrestrial realms, and worlds of Seen and Unseen. Inshallah by the grace and help of Allah, I shall give answers,
solutions and advice.
One of the Lady from the audiences
asked:
Baba ji, why does the world attract
us towards itself? Bad things appear to be easier than good ones and why do we have
to struggle so much to do good?
*Good and bad are two sides. Doing
good please Allah and all his apostles as their message is being carried out.
The other side is against God's teachings, which pleases Satan. One of the
paths is neat and clean, has peace and tranquility, has trees with fruits and
flowers on its sides and, the other one is uneven, there is fright, fear, insects,
snakes, scorpions and centipedes, which of these two paths should we chose?
We must also consider, what constitutes
vice and virtue, sin and piety? One earns his bread by laboring and the other
one steals it. Stealing also satiates hunger and so does the laboring. One is
an evil and satanic thing and the other is Godly. Which of the paths will you
chose?
Lady: that of the laboring!
*What's the difference between eating
the stolen bread and the earned bread?
Lady: earning with laboring gives peace
of mind and stealing makes anxious and restless.
*Will anyone of thousands of
audiences say that he wants grief, sadness, problems or sickness?
*God has appointed two sides for
everything. (Arabic text)
*One says his prayer for the sake of
Allah and the other one is offering just to show off so that people consider
him a pious man, who deserves justice? What does justice say?
One of the audience asked: "Why
does a man versed with the Knowledge of Appellations make a mistake? When he
knows the reality then how did he fall prey to a creature of a lower grade and
made the mistake?"
*Mind it, only angels and prophets do
not make mistakes. Even Auliya Allah make a mistake but they have such an
enlightened conscience, which stops them from committing a mistake and if they
still make a mistake, they repent and seek forgiveness from Allah. One steals
and justifies his action by saying that he is poor and has no means to eat so
he stole the bread from a person who had millions of Rupees, what difference
will it make to him? But the question is, would a thief accept this if he is
being robbed?
Audience...No!
*That means, obedience and
disobedience are two opposite sides. Disobedience is the Satanic side whereas
obedience is the way of the elevated servants of God.
Lady audience... Please explain, you
said that you have been directed to hold today's session as a question-answer
session.
*Allah says, I guide! (Arabic text)
(Surah Noor: 35) God guides them to His Light who desires. Man sees and hears
by the guidance of Allah. Allah has said, Satan is the cursed, rejected and
rebellious, who stood against Allah. He denied all those blessings, which Allah
had granted to him.
Lady audience... But, Satan is also
performing his duty.
*Right! A thief is also performing
his duty then, why do you punish him? A dacoit kills a man, why he is hanged?
Lady... to stop the evil from spreading.
*Theft occurring in someone else's
house is only news to you, but it doesn't elicit the same emotional distress as
when something is stolen from your own house. It means acceptance of the
inspirations from the teachings of God's apostles is the path that Allah likes
the most.
Audience... My question is, what's the
difference between man and human being?
*The question is, what's the
difference between a man and a dog? A dog feels hungry, it eats. That excretes
so does a man. Dog sleeps, awakens, and learns what it is taught. If a man is
not taught, he will also not learn. A dog is born like us, grows, becomes
young, produces its offspring, and dies. There must be some difference between a
man and a dog.
*There is no difference between a man
and a dog. There is a separate category of man that is known as human. This category
of humans is not available for angels even. God says, (Arabic text) Surah Teen:
4-5) Man is the best of our creation but has fallen down to the lowest of all.
*Man is not superior as a man. He is
superior only when he is a human being. And, what this humanity is? Humanity is
to live life according to the norms set by Allah through His Prophets. For
instance, if the business or trading is free from black marketing, it is
according to human values.
A Lady from the audience... We are
told that there are 23 classes for studying Spiritualism. Please guide us about
its first, second and third class.
*The first class is to achieve mental
focus and concentration, that is, to get rid of stray thoughts. It is the
experience that during our prayers we have such a rush of thoughts that we
cannot focus on Allah. We offer the entire Prayer and when salam is said we don't even remember, what we recited during the
Prayer? Will we pass or fail, if we shall study like this in our schools?
The Lady... we shall not pass.
* That means, there are two sides of
life. One of them is to do a work with a focused mind, i.e. with concentration
and devotion. Purpose of Praying must not be other than to feel your presence
before Allah. Another person during his Prayer is busy calculating things in
his mind, thinking of his domestic problems and thinking bad about others. Is
this a Godly approach to thinking or the Satanic one?
Lady: The Satanic one!
*
Mashallah, thousands of people are sitting here in this auditorium. Can
anyone stand up and say that no thought occurs to him when he Prays? Yes,
please! Just one single person!
(Silence, not one could stand up)
* When we stand up for praying and after
niyat say, Allah ho Akbar...God is the greatest. And, after that any thought
occurring means we are preferring that thought, yes or no?
Lady... Indeed God is the greatest
but unfortunately we, consciously or unconsciously, prefer worldly thoughts.
* When we are in our offices,
drafting or calculating, why don't we become unmindful of the things to which
we are attending? We might have a cut in the salary or be fired from the job.
And, God forbid, might starve to death. Do we get nourishment in the womb of
the mother or not? Doesn't a baby get food through his mother for three years?
Lady... Yes, the children do get
food.
* Will a child grow to youth if he is
not nursed by his mother for three years?
Lady, No, not possible!
*Will he marry?
Lady...no, not at all?
*Three years are the basis of our
growth, we do get the sustenance. Twenty years later, after reading a few
words, we reckon that if we do not study how will we be fed? Allah has said in
the holy Quran, We provide sustenance without any reckoning. Can anyone calculate
how much water, air, oxygen, fruits, vegetables, milk and meat do we consume?
Till the twelfth year of our age, God
provides us with water and bread without any laboring and makes us grow like a well-built
tree. But, a struggle to earn resources is also necessary. If we do not work,
our limbs will grow numb and our brain will stop working. If you do not talk to
a child, will he learn to talk? The child will not speak because the ability to
speak blessed by Allah is not nurtured. Moving around, exercising, laboring,
and working can't get us bread. Have we ever given it a thought that billions
and trillions of animals, cattle, goats, sheep, trees, birds, insects, and
creatures that are invisible to the naked eye like bacteria (in one-minute
thousands and in one-hour millions of bacteria take birth), how are they being
produced and from where they get their food? Allah is providing food to all;
frogs, fish, creatures of air, water, land, and under the earth without any
reckoning.
There is a saying that once Hazrat Solomon
asked permission to host the creatures of God. When God granted him permission,
he prepared the food in hundreds of thousands of big cooking pots. One fish
emerged from the water and ate all the food that was prepared. Nothing was left
for others. Hazrat Solomon asked in amazement, do you eat so much? "God
provides me with this much food three times daily", the fish had replied.
The main reason for working hard is
to keep the body moving otherwise the joints would become stiff and man would
become incapable of doing anything. The body is a machine. If the machine is
not kept functional, it becomes rusted. Oiling and greasing are needed to keep
the machine working. Our working and laboring are like oiling and greasing the
body.
Asking the doctors in the audiences,
when the leg bone fractures and you tie it up high without bandaging it, will
that man ever be able to walk?
A doctor from the audiences... No, he
won't?
* Walking and moving around increases
life duration. How long one can survive without water? Can a patient put on a ventilator
remain alive?
Many of the audiences...No, no!
* His body swells, he can't speak, he
can't hear, he can't understand and finally, he stops inhaling.
*Almighty Allah has devised a system.
He didn't make earth soft that feet may sink in nor has He made it hard to
stumble on it. It is built in a manner to provide continuous energy (life) to
the material body.
One audience...It has been said in
the holy Quran that there is no fear or grief for the friends of Allah. So far
as I have understood, fear is of unknown loss and when the loss is actually
suffered, the sorrow is known as grief. What would you say on this?
* It has been said in the holy Quran,
Friends of Allah have neither any fear nor any grief. According to this verse, are
they friends of Allah who have fears and grief? Indeed, friends of Allah, have
neither fears nor any grief. Here the average life has decreased below sixty.
And, how much is the life of Airaf?
How many million years ago the story of Abel and Cain happened? No idea. One of
those two brothers is still in pain and the other one is in eternal bliss and
comfort. If you put your hand in the fire, will it not burn it? And, if you
will not put it in there, it will benefit you.
*After the session of Question-Answers
Azeemi Sahib addressed the audience.
You
came from far away. After this yearly meeting may you stay happy in your homes.
All that is told here, if you will act upon that for the sake of Allah and His
prophet (PBUH) you will be rewarded and benefitted greatly here and in the
hereafter. And, your mind will turn towards the knowledge of the secrets of
Allah.
Allah has promised sustenance. What
will happen if you have millions of rupees and wheat, rice, air or oxygen is
not available? What if the sun doesn't show up and moonlight is not there? The
way to be grateful to Allah is to act upon the laws and principles laid down by
Allah. God told the holy prophet (PBUH), "I was a hidden treasure, I
created creatures with love and affection so that I be known."
God wants that since He created the
creatures with love and blessed them with the ability to recognize themselves,
the atmosphere around them, the sun and the moon. And, after blessing them with
the ability to see Him sent them down upon the earth. Did you see Allah with
material eyes? What is that eye, which witnesses Allah? That is the eye of the
heart.
Allah says, "Heart did not
falsify what it saw." (Surah Najam: 11)
The heart is the best eye that
beholds Allah. In order to purge the heart, try to keep each and every act
according to the teachings of Allah and His prophet (PBUH). Seek His
forgiveness, if a mistake is committed. May Allah bless us with the ability to
fulfill the purpose for which we have come here. Be regular in your lessons.
Perform Muraqba, keep reciting “ya haiyo ya qayyom”, as much as you can and as
and when possible. Morning time is an ideal time for Muraqba. The mind focuses
quickly at that time. And, no work can be performed without having a focused
mind.
You, Ladies and gentlemen, came and
underwent the hardships of the tiring journey. May Allah bless you all with
great rewards. Ameen.
